Yu Chi

I am currently a PhD student at the Visual Computing and Artificial Intelligence Lab, supervised by Prof. Matthias Niessner. I completed my master's degree at the Technical University of Munich, where I majored in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence.

During my master's studies, I had the privilege of working with Dr. Fangneng Zhan, Dr. Adam Kortylewski, and Prof. Christian Theobalt at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics.

I earned my bachelor's degree in computer engineering from RWTH Aachen University, where I was awarded the Germany Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium) and placed on the Dean's List, graduating in the top 5% of my class.

My research interests lie at the intersection of computer vision, computer graphics, and machine learning — with a particular focus on understanding, representing, and generatively modeling our 3D and 4D world.
